2013 Event Schedule

Our regular cleanups for 2013 are set for April 20th and July 20th at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve(5200 Sumas Prairie Road, Chilliwack). Participants will sign in at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve between 8:30am and 9:30am. The cleanup will finish at Noon. Donuts, muffins, coffee and juice will be provided by Tim Hortons. Garbage bags, rubber gloves and pick-up tools will also be available. Please bring appropriate clothings and footwear.

2013 World Rivers Day Celebration

Registration: 8:30am - 9:30am
Clean-up: 9:30am - 12:00pm
BBQ, entertainment and prize draw: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
We will once again be celebrating World Rivers Day in 2012. This will be our eleventh celebration! Our celebration begins with the third 2011's group clean-up. Tim Hortons will be supplying donuts and coffee for volunteers. Volunteers will take part in the cleanup until 12:00pm, when a BBQ will begin back at the Chilliwack Fish and Game Club House. This is followed by entertainment and draw prizes. There will also be a variety of exhibits by different stewardship groups.
